What is Moving Out Clean?

Moving Out Clean connects renters and landlords with end-of-tenancy cleaning, quote requests, local areas, and property jobs across 31 pages.

Who are Moving Out Clean?

We're a growing end-of-tenancy cleaning brand with local teams in the areas we currently cover, expanding across the UK. Every branch is run by a local team who knows the area, the letting agents, and the standards landlords expect — all backed by the same national checklist and Re-Clean Guarantee.

Which areas do you cover?

We have local teams in the areas we currently cover and we're expanding across the UK. Enter your postcode on the homepage or the Areas page and we'll route you straight to your nearest branch. If we don't cover your area yet, you can join our waitlist and we'll be in touch the moment we launch locally.

Yes. Every Moving Out Clean branch carries public liability insurance, so your property is protected throughout the clean.

Do I need to be at the property during the clean?

No. Most customers hand over keys or arrange access with their local team. You're welcome to be present, but it isn't required — our teams work to a fixed checklist and send a photo report on completion.

What's included in the end-of-tenancy clean?

Every clean covers the full kitchen (including the oven), bathrooms, skirting boards, internal windows, floors, light fixtures and switches, and a final walkthrough inspection. It's a top-to-bottom deep clean designed to meet landlord checkout standards.

Are appliances included?

Yes. Appliances are wiped down as part of the standard end-of-tenancy clean — no extra charge, no add-on required. A full oven deep clean is available as an optional add-on if your oven needs heavier work.

Are internal windows included?

Yes. Internal windows (the glass and frames inside the property) are included as standard in every clean. External windows aren't part of the service.

Do you clean carpets?

Carpet cleaning is an optional add-on. You can add it to your estimate in seconds, and your local team will bring professional carpet-cleaning equipment on the day.

Can I book a deep clean if I'm not moving out?

Absolutely. Our teams carry out deep cleans for stay-put tenants, landlords preparing a property, and sellers getting ready for viewings. Just mention it in the notes when you request your quote and we'll tailor the service to what you need.

How do I get a quote?

Enter your postcode to reach your local branch, pick your bedroom count and any add-ons, and you'll see an instant estimate. Submit the request and your local team reviews your details and issues a fixed final quote — usually within 24 hours.

What's the difference between the instant estimate and the final quote?

The instant estimate is a guide price based on your bedrooms, bathrooms, and add-ons. The final quote is a fixed, no-surprise price confirmed by your local team after reviewing your property details. There are no hidden charges and no upsells on the day.

How quickly will I get my final quote?

Most quotes are confirmed within 24 hours. During busy periods it may take a little longer, but your local team will always respond promptly.

Do you charge extra for extra bathrooms?

One bathroom is included in the base price. Each additional bathroom adds a small fixed amount to the final quote — you'll see this reflected in your estimate before you submit.

Is the estimate binding?

No. The estimate is a transparent guide price. You're never locked in until you accept your fixed final quote and confirm a booking with your local team.

How far in advance should I book?

We typically book within 7 days, often sooner for checkout dates. The earlier you request a quote, the more likely we are to hit your preferred date — so it's worth getting your quote in as soon as you know your checkout.

What if my checkout date changes?

Let your local team know as soon as possible and they'll do their best to move the clean to your new date. We understand tenancy dates shift and we'll work with you to find a slot.

Do I need to provide cleaning products or equipment?

No. Our teams arrive fully equipped with professional products and equipment. You don't need to supply anything.

Your local team will confirm payment options when they issue your final quote. Most branches accept card and bank transfer. Payment is arranged directly with your local branch.

Will I get a photo report?

Yes. On completion of every job our teams provide a photo report so you (and your landlord) can see the standard of the clean.

Is my deposit covered by the Re-Clean Guarantee?

We can't guarantee a landlord's decision on your deposit — it's held by your landlord or a government-backed scheme, not by us. What the Re-Clean Guarantee covers is our work: if anything on the agreed checklist is flagged as missed, we return and put it right free of charge.

What happens if my landlord isn't satisfied?

Contact your local team and we'll come back and re-clean the area in question at no extra cost. We stand behind the standard of every clean.

Do you take a deposit from me?

No. We don't take a deposit to carry out the clean. Our Re-Clean Guarantee refers to the standard we clean to — if your landlord isn't satisfied with any area we've cleaned, we return to put it right free of charge.

What exactly is the Re-Clean Guarantee?

It's our commitment that the clean meets landlord checkout standards. If any cleaned area falls short, we return free of charge to put it right. Terms are confirmed with your final quote.

How do I find my local branch?

Enter your postcode on the homepage or the Areas page. We match it to your nearest branch and take you straight to their page, where you can get an instant estimate and request a quote.

What if you don't cover my area yet?

We're expanding across the UK all the time. If we don't cover your postcode yet, join the waitlist on your nearest area page and we'll let you know the moment a local team launches near you.

Are all branches the same quality?

Yes. Every branch follows the same national checklist, uses the same professional standards, and offers the same Re-Clean Guarantee. Local ownership means teams who care about their reputation in the area.

Can I request a specific branch?

If you're on the boundary between two branches, you can request either one. Enter your postcode and contact the branch you'd prefer — they'll confirm if they can cover your property.
